His vocal and histrionic capacities have permitted him to tackle different types of roles within the world of opera, whether serious or comical.
His professional education took place in Switzerland in the International Opera Studio of Zurich, as well as in the National Music School of the National University of Mexico, and in the School of Performing Arts of Toluca. He has been performing as a mexican soloist from 1990 until now with the Mexican Orchestras, as well as with the National Opera Company at “Palace of the Performing Arts“. In his international career: in Austria from 1997 to 1999 he was a member of the Innsbruck Opera singing the following roles: Dr.Bartolo in („Il Barbiere di Siviglia“), Don Alfonso in („Cosi fan tutte“), Sarastro in („Die Zauberflöte“), Sparafucil in („Rigoletto“), Lord Sidney in („Il Viaggio a Reims“).
From 1999 to 2003 he was a member of the Vienna Opera in the Volksoper singing roles like Oroveso („ Norma), Dulcamara („L’elesir d’Amore), Don Pasquale („Don Pasquale), Bartolo („Le nozze di Figaro“), Alidoro („La Cenerentola“) , Geronio („Il Turco in Italia“), Colline („La Boheme“), etc. In the Linz Opera he performed in the following productions: Don Pasquale („Don Pasquale“) and Lord Sidney („Il viaggio a Reims“); for the Vienna Chamber Opera he performed as Nardo in („La Finta Giardiniera“). In Spain he participated in the inauguration of the Cuyas Theatre in Las Palmas, Canary Islands with the production of the opera (“Don Giovanni”) singing in the role of Leporello. He also performed in the main theatre of Palma Mallorca in the role of Don Magnifico (“La Cenerentola”); in the Cervantes Theatre in the city of Malaga he performed the role of Giorgio (“I puritani”). In Colombia in the Bogota Opera he performed the roles of Dulcamara (“L’elisir d’amore) and Sulpice (“ La fille du régiment”). In Germany with the Wuppertal Opera he performed the role of Geronio (“Il Turco in Italia”). In the Rossini festival in Wildwad he participated in the opera (“Matilde di Shabran) as Aliprando. In Italy in the Giovanni Pacini theatre of the city of Pescia he performed in the role of Don Pasquale (“Don Pasquale”).
He has
also participated in the Austrian festival in Gars am Kamp in the opera (“ Don
Giovanni”) in the character of Leporello in 2005.
In January of 2005 he obtained 1st prize in the international singing
competition in Pescia, Italy.
He has performed the role of
Frère Laurent in
the production of “Romeo and Juliet” by the national opera company of Mexico.
In this performance he worked side by side with the following renowned artists:
Anna Netrebko, Rolando Villazon, etc.

Among his various recordings the one that stands out the most is his performance
in the role of Aliprando in “Matilde di Shabran” from composer Gioachino
Rossini, which he did for the Italian recording
company BONGIOVANNI.
